The project is connected to the Lehman Brother crisis in 2008, when many people lost there homes, bought with loans and unstable jobs. People started to live in so called tendcities - or whole families started to lived in there cars. I applied for a residency to realize a project which was planed as a company who is reconstructing normal cars into campers to make there lives a little more functional and comfortable - so that they can come back on there feets a little easier. Unfortunately they did not take me for the residence - so I rebuilt my own car into a camper - and at least tried to live in it for a couple of weeks.
